Tadelakt is a traditional lime-based plaster originating in ancient Morocco. It is a bridge to the past that endures to this day. Tadelakt is a natural alternative to traditional wet area and bathroom finishes but it is versatile enough to be used anywhere. We apply multiple layers and painstakingly burnish the plaster to your desired feel and look. Once we apply a natural soap the tadelkt undergoes a chemical reaction that creates a water proof surface perfect for showers and backsplashes alike. Today, Tadelakt is prized worldwide for its organic feel, soft sheen, and ability to form seamless, sculptural surfaces.
